Hyderabad man arrested for illegally altering Aadhaar and PAN cards

Hyderabad police have arrested a 36-year-old photocopy centre owner, Ch. Mahadev, for altering photos, names, dates of birth and addresses on Aadhaar and PAN cards using unauthorised online software. He charged Rs 300 to change a date of birth and Rs 700 to Rs 1,000 to change all details. Police said customers used the documents to get SIM cards and scheme benefits.
