MP forms panel to probe claims of spurious liquor deaths in Dewas
Madhya Pradesh has set up a five-member committee to investigate villagers' claims that at least 10 people died after drinking spurious liquor in Dewas district between September 27 and October 16. Headed by Ujjain ADM Pratham Kaushik, the panel will report within 15 days. The administration denies liquor caused the deaths, and viscera samples of two of the deceased have been sent for forensic tests.
