New Mitsubishi Pajero gets 5,500 pre-orders ahead of Japan launch

Mitsubishi says the all-new Pajero, called Montero in some markets, has drawn about 5,500 pre-orders in Japan before going on sale there on December 17. That already exceeds the carmaker's target of 4,000 units for fiscal year 2026, which runs from April 2026 to March 2027, for its flagship cross-country SUV.
