Fan fiction site AO3 may stay offline for up to four weeks

Archive of Our Own, the popular fan fiction platform, went down during what was meant to be routine overnight maintenance and now says full restoration could take about two weeks, possibly up to four. It hopes to return sooner in a limited form. AO3 is run by the volunteer-driven nonprofit Organization for Transformative Works, which depends on donations.
