Andhra: TDP-led alliance seeks SIT probe into alleged YSRCP poll violence

A delegation of the TDP-led ruling alliance in Andhra Pradesh met State Election Commissioner Anil Chandra Punetha in Vijayawada and sought a Special Investigation Team to probe alleged violence by YSR Congress Party activists aimed at disrupting local body elections. Their memorandum alleged an organised criminal conspiracy to derail the polls.
