Delhi set to ban non-BS-VI vehicles from outside the city, hitting NCR commuters

Delhi is set to bar vehicles from outside the city that do not meet BS-VI emission standards, a move expected to hurt daily commuters. According to transport department estimates, more than 10 lakh vehicles in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad fall below BS-VI norms and could be affected by the restriction once it comes into force.
