ED makes 4 more arrests in India-Myanmar drug-hawala probe, freezes 991 accounts

The Enforcement Directorate has arrested four more people in an alleged India-Myanmar drug trafficking and hawala network, taking total arrests to 10, and frozen 991 bank accounts. Its Aizawl office says transactions worth hundreds of crores link Myanmar suppliers to Mizoram operators and Assam money handlers. Drug money was allegedly used to buy goods shipped to Myanmar to settle payments.
