Rivian electric van gets 30% more range and AWD option

Rivian has begun delivering the first major hardware upgrade to its electric delivery van since production started in 2021. The bigger EDV 700 now gets a 129 kWh LFP battery, up from 100 kWh, offering about 30% more range, plus a new dual-motor all-wheel-drive version. Rivian says the changes aim to expand route coverage into more rural networks.
