Bihar scraps 1,711 medical college assistant professor vacancies

Bihar has cancelled 1,711 assistant professor vacancies in state medical colleges and hospitals that were advertised through BPSC in April 2025, after document verification had begun. The department said fresh advertisements are being prepared following revised petitions, but gave no date. The posts spanned departments such as anaesthesia, general medicine, paediatrics, pathology and radiology. Applicants must await the new notices.
