Tesla's rocket-shaped Houston Robotaxi zone is partly 'fake', says tracker

Tesla expanded its Houston Robotaxi service area into a rocket-shaped zone stretching to downtown and Bellaire. But Ethan McKanna, creator of Robotaxi Tracker and a former Tesla employee, says the app refuses pickups in parts of downtown inside the published map. He called it the most egregious fake service area he has seen, citing a 40-minute quote for two blocks.
