Tripura's voter roll revision pushed back again to avoid civic poll clash

The Election Commission has deferred the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Tripura for the second time, to avoid clashing with November's urban local body elections. Under the revised schedule, booth-level officers will visit homes from December 26 to January 25, and the draft rolls will now be published on February 1 instead of December 12.
