Richard Hammond embraces wild swimming in new Welsh life

Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond, 56, says he has swapped vintage cars for food festivals, running and open water swimming since moving to Wales. He bought a £2 million Georgian mansion in Llanwenarth, near Abergavenny, in November 2025 after his divorce. The home, beside the Brecon Beacons, is being renovated with car garages and a padel court.
