Rare Celtic warrior helmet found in Poland, far from its homeland

Archaeologists have found a rare bronze Berru-type Celtic helmet at Łysa Góra in northeast Poland, the only one of its kind discovered outside the Celtic heartland. About 2,400 years ago it was crushed and thrown into a ritual pit with iron adzes and a scythe. Nearly 80 Celtic artefacts suggest Celts lived at the site, possibly an amber-trade post, for two generations.
