Google unveils Gemini 4 Carbon AI model built for cybersecurity

Google has launched Gemini 4 Carbon, a frontier AI model aimed at complex coding and cybersecurity work such as finding vulnerabilities and patching software. Google says it writes secure code at more than twice the success rate of Gemini 4 Argon, released two weeks earlier. It is first going to select cyber defenders, priced at $2 per million input tokens.
