Indo-Pacific developments call for vigilance, deterrence: IAF chief

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said the Indo-Pacific has become central to global security, marked by growing military activity and strategic competition, and recent developments call for vigilance, credible deterrence and greater regional cooperation. The IAF chief told PTI that India's priority is protecting its national interests, sovereignty and freedom of action, and that the IAF is committed to safeguarding them in the region.
