Head constable's daughter Preeti Yadav becomes Noida Zone 1's first woman DCP

IPS officer Preeti Yadav, 30, has been appointed DCP of Noida Zone 1, the first woman to hold the post. From Rewari, Haryana, the 2019-batch officer secured AIR 466 in UPSC CSE 2018 on her second attempt after missing the mains cutoff by 21 marks. She credits her father, who rose from constable to ASI, as her inspiration.
