IIT Kanpur to run ₹104-crore cyber security centre for Uttar Pradesh

C3iHub, IIT Kanpur's cybersecurity innovation hub, will set up and operate the Uttar Pradesh Cyber Security Operations Centre, a ₹104.28-crore project approved by the state Cabinet. The centre will monitor government networks, applications and data round the clock, handle threat assessment and incident response, and use AI, machine learning and automated response tools to detect suspicious activity.
