Sunny Deol was wary of action-free OTT debut Ikka, says Netflix executive

Netflix India's Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh says Sunny Deol was initially apprehensive about Ikka, his streaming debut, because the courtroom drama had no action, his trademark for nearly four decades. She convinced him that streaming lets familiar genres be tried in new ways. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and co-starring Akshaye Khanna, Ikka reached number one on Netflix in its first days.
