Man arrested after fire at Hitler's mountaintop Eagle's Nest retreat

Police in Bavaria have detained a 33-year-old German man during a fire at Adolf Hitler's Alpine retreat, the Kehlsteinhaus, also known as the Eagle's Nest. A fire alarm was received at 21:15 local time on Friday, and firefighters found the building engulfed in flames. About 200 emergency personnel were deployed, and the blaze was still burning early on Saturday as difficult terrain hampered efforts.
