Mizoram State University expected to be functional by 2028

Mizoram's Higher and Technical Education Minister Vanlalthlana said the new Mizoram State University should be fully functional by 2028. The university, first planned for Aizawl, was shifted to Lunglei. Of 71 posts created, approval has been given to fill 21, a fresh search committee is choosing the vice-chancellor and registrar, and a rented building in Lunglei is being finalised.
