Delhi-NCR communities host Diwali parties for strangers

Ahead of Diwali, Delhi-NCR residents are signing up for community gatherings where they can come alone or with a friend and celebrate with people they have never met. Plans range from 30-person get-togethers and women-only melas to queer celebrations and villa parties, with games and introductions. Newcomers to the city and those missing home are among the keenest participants.
