NHAI's annual local toll pass for nearby residents starts November 1

From November 1, non-commercial vehicle owners living within 20 km of a toll plaza can buy an annual local pass costing ₹1,500 at town plazas and ₹3,000 at urban ones, replacing monthly ₹350 renewals. NHAI officials say the pass will also boost compliance with barrier-free MLFF tolling, now live at seven plazas, and cut the e-notices being sent to local vehicles.
