Scottish football takes first step towards ending UK's 3pm TV blackout

Scottish football has taken tentative steps to end the UK's 3pm television blackout as it seeks offers for its next broadcast deal, starting from the 2029-30 season. The SPFL says it is flexible about the number of games involved. Currently, matches cannot be shown live between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on Saturdays.
