Bay of Bengal low pressure may become cyclonic storm

The India Meteorological Department has warned that a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal could strengthen into a cyclonic storm and move towards the Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coasts. Separately, a state bus on the Coimbatore–Nilgiris route was struck by a landslip at Burliyar early on October 24 as heavy weather continued.
