Google opens Gemini and Search to more third-party apps

Google has launched a Connected Apps Platform that lets any business or developer submit apps that work inside Gemini and Google Search, and track their performance. Connected apps let users link services like Canva or YouTube Music and take actions directly through Google's AI. The move could shift users from opening individual apps to working through AI assistants.
