Volvo to launch a smaller, lower-priced EV in 2027

Volvo will launch a smaller, more affordable electric car as the second model on its SPA3 platform, following the EX60. Announcing third-quarter results, the Swedish carmaker said it plans 13 new cars through the end of 2030, tailored to markets such as the US, Europe and China. Three will be revealed in 2027, one for Europe and two for China.
