BYD's ultra-luxury Yangwang sedan may debut next week in UAE

BYD's upcoming flagship electric sedan under its Yangwang brand, its largest and most luxurious yet, could debut as early as next week, with the global launch set for the UAE rather than China. It may bring two firsts for BYD: Rolls-Royce-style coach doors and solid-state batteries. The roughly 5.5-metre car targets rivals like Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Mercedes-Maybach.
