Who is Kripa Alva, the Congress leader at the centre of Karnataka sting row

Kripa Alva, a 60-year-old Congress spokesperson from Mangaluru, has been questioned by the Crime Branch over an alleged sting video targeting former chief minister Siddaramaiah, who says it is fabricated. Alva headed Karnataka's child rights commission from 2015 to 2018 and entered politics years after her husband Amar Alva was shot dead in 1992.
