Replate's surprise bags give unsold bakery food a second life in Bengaluru, Hyderabad

Replate, a new venture by Karan Singh Gujral and Aditya Arya, connects customers with restaurants and bakeries in Bengaluru and Hyderabad that sell unsold end-of-day food in surprise bags. Gujral was inspired by France, where buying food at closing time is routine. The founders say good food that simply had not sold was ending up in bins every night.
