Tamil Nadu theatre owners seek 6 am shows and 2 am screenings

Tamil film industry bodies have asked Tamil Nadu Information Minister Rajmohan to allow cinema shows from 6 am, as in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and screenings until 2 am. Producers, distributors and theatre owners also sought an eight-week gap before Tamil films reach OTT platforms, arguing it would push audiences towards theatres during crowded release weeks.
