Same name 11 times in Azamgarh voter list; EC acts against 9 officials

The Election Commission has ordered action against nine officials after a probe found the name Vikas Yadav listed 11 times in Azamgarh's electoral rolls, with identical father's name, address and birth date. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had flagged the issue on October 15. Action includes departmental proceedings against registration officers and termination notices for five booth-level officers.
