Red alert in Delhi as rain may hide Karwa Chauth moon

The India Meteorological Department issued red and orange alerts for moderate to heavy rain across parts of Delhi-NCR on Thursday, with a red alert for North, North West, West and South West Delhi. Cloudy skies could delay moon sighting on Karwa Chauth, when fasting women wait for the moon. Temperatures are expected between 19°C and 26°C.
