Tech billionaires pour $300m into fight against California billionaire tax

California voters will decide on November 3 whether to impose a one-time 5% tax on the assets of the state's billionaires. Tech billionaires have raised more than $300 million to oppose it, making it the most expensive ballot measure ever. Co-author Brian Galle, a UC Berkeley professor, says opposition flyers contain claims he never wrote.
