New MacBook Pro is the first laptop with Apple's CMF 2026 colour modes

Apple's new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display, its first laptop with OLED and touchscreen, is also the first laptop to support Apple CMF 2026 colour modes. The colour-matching standard aims to make images look consistent across OLED and quantum-dot screens and different viewers, addressing limits of the nearly century-old CIE 1931 standard, which was based on just 17 people.
