Andhra districts on alert as severe cyclone approaches

Officials across Andhra Pradesh's Krishna, NTR and Eluru districts have been told to stay alert as a severe cyclone approaches. Krishna Collector D.K. Balaji ordered steps to prevent loss of life and property and ensure drinking water supply. APCPDCL cancelled staff leave and set up control rooms, while villagers were urged to stay away from rivers and canals.
