Elon Musk has channelled at least $445.77 million into Republican-aligned political action committees and groups since last year, according to Federal Election Commission data as of October 29, making him the largest single-cycle political donor in modern US history. His spending jumped by about $200 million in the final two months, despite his earlier claim he would step back from big donations.
