German notary forged will, gets two-year suspended sentence

A former notary in Braunfels forged an 88-year-old woman’s will to name himself sole heir to her €1.2 million estate instead of charities she wanted to benefit. Limburg Regional Court gave him a two-year suspended sentence, finding greed rather than mere financial stress behind the fraud.
