GAIL to spend ₹600 crore on heating unit for Ratnagiri LNG terminal
GAIL India will invest ₹600 crore, about $63 million, in a heating unit to regasify fuel at its Ratnagiri LNG terminal. Director R.K. Singhal said the facility now runs at roughly half capacity because a power plant that supplied waste heat has stopped. The new unit, due by June 2027, should let the terminal reach its full 5 mtpa capacity.
