Rib remodelling surgery gains popularity despite painful recovery

A cosmetic surgery called rib remodelling, which fractures a patient's lower ribs and keeps them in a corset for three months to create a narrower waist, is growing in popularity. Miami-based Daniela Cesin, 31, was offered the RibXcar procedure in Venezuela after lacking enough fat for liposuction. Some patients compare the recovery to being 'hit by a bus'.
