Tata Sons pumps ₹1,100 crore into Tata Electronics

Tata Sons has infused ₹1,100 crore into Tata Electronics through a rights issue approved by the unit's board on September 18, backing its iPhone manufacturing and semiconductor businesses. Set up in 2020, Tata Electronics posted FY26 revenue of ₹1.31 lakh crore and a net loss of ₹1,611 crore. The move comes amid a dispute between Tata Trusts and Tata Sons over listing.
