BBC 6 Music Festival moves to Newcastle in 2027

BBC Radio 6 Music's annual festival will be held in Newcastle in March 2027, ending a four-year run in Greater Manchester. The five-day event will feature live performances and DJ sets across the city's independent and grassroots venues. Tyneside last hosted the festival in 2015. Newcastle recently staged the Mercury Prize for a second straight year, where Raye won the top award.
