Netherlands reverses course, skips Eurovision 2027 over Israel row

Dutch public broadcaster NPO has decided the Netherlands will not compete in Eurovision 2027, reversing last month's pledge to return. Media director Jurre Bosman said Israel's participation causes division in society. The Netherlands and four other countries boycotted this year's contest. NPO said it could not find a suitable format and would 'take a step back' for now.
