Karnataka Congress expels Kripa Alva for six years over sting video

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has expelled former general secretary Kripa Alva for six years over her alleged role in a sting operation targeting party leaders. The order said she never answered a show-cause notice. Siddaramaiah had named her as being behind the "defamatory video", and Bengaluru police have called the sexual abuse allegation in it a fabricated narrative.
