Country-made gun suspected in Kuno cheetah cub's shooting death
Investigators probing the death of a 19-month-old cheetah from Kuno National Park suspect it was shot with a bharmar, a traditional muzzle-loading country-made gun, in the Morena area. Five pellets were recovered during surgery before the cub, KNG22, died in Jabalpur on October 27. The probe also found lapses in monitoring by local forest staff in Morena.
