Uttarakhand Kedartal avalanche toll rises to six after two more bodies found

Rescue teams recovered two more trekkers’ bodies on the Kedartal route in Uttarkashi, raising the October 29 avalanche death toll to six of eight people who went missing. The State Disaster Response Force and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering reported the finds by satellite phone. District magistrate Prashant Arya said the bodies will be brought to Matli helipad and ordered a magisterial probe.
