IOA election code bars attacks on candidates' private lives and publicity

The Indian Olympic Association's model code of conduct for its Athletes' Commission and Sportspersons of Merit elections bars criticism of rivals' private lives and all publicity, including on social media. The Athletes' Commission vote, with 12 candidates including P.V. Sindhu and Mirabai Chanu, is on November 3, and the SOM polls on November 9, both held virtually.
