Rulli the hero as Manchester City beat Brighton in Carabao Cup shootout

Goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli saved penalties from Yasin Ayari and Lewis Dunk as Manchester City beat Brighton 4-3 in a shootout after a 2-2 draw in the Carabao Cup. Brighton twice led through Malick Yalcouyé and Georginio Rutter, but Mateo Kovacic and Vitor Reis levelled. Substitute Jérémy Doku lifted City, who will now face League One side Bradford in the quarter-finals.
