Bank of Baroda posts record ₹6,532 crore Q2 profit

Bank of Baroda reported its highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹6,532 crore for the September quarter, helped by a 95.8% jump in non-interest income to ₹6,881 crore. Net interest income rose 9% to ₹13,026 crore, while operating profit hit a record ₹11,430 crore, up 50.9%. Asset quality improved, with gross NPAs falling to 1.78% from 2.16% a year ago.
