TikTok launches 'Must Eat' restaurant guide to rival Yelp and Google Maps

TikTok has launched Must Eat, an in-app restaurant guide built from 40 million posts, reviews and comments about dining on the platform. Users can read and leave reviews, make calls and reservations, and find nearby eateries on a map. The guide is split into 'everyday eats' and 'elevated dining' tabs, with filters for rating, distance and cuisine.
