China's CCTV keeps Real Madrid off air despite Mbappé's apology

China's state broadcaster CCTV did not show a Real Madrid match on Sunday, even after Kylian Mbappé apologised for joking that his favourite meme put his face on a 'Chinese dictator' resembling Mao Zedong. Parent body China Media Group suspended La Liga broadcasts last week. Real Madrid and La Liga have also apologised, but no end date for the blackout has been given.
